Office and Laboratory Space

The Innovation Centre provides high-quality, flexible and fully-costed, serviced office and laboratory space for high-growth-potential, knowledge-based, businesses. From virtual offices, through hot-desks, to large open-plan units, the Innovation Centre offers over 37,000 sq ft of highquality flexible serviced accommodation in a variety of different sizes to meet your needs. The Centre has two adjacent buildings, Phase 1 and Phase 2, providing 15,000 and 22,000 sq ft of office and lab space respectively.

Our ICT provision has been designed to provide an easy-access, flexible and future-proof platform for IT and telecoms. Every unit has multi-access telephone and internet ports connected to a main communications and server room.

Facilities and services

The Innovation Centre can accommodate all your conference needs, from a 100- delegate conference centre divisible into two 50-delegate suites, to a Board Room and smaller meeting rooms. In addition, the Innovation Centre café is at the heart of the Phase 2 development, providing a comfortable and stylish environment for clients, their guests and visitors.

An environmental pedigree

Phase 2 is a prestigious new building that has attained an Excellent rating in the Buildings Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methods (BREEAM) – the highest rating a building can achieve in the world’s most widely-used environmental assessment method for buildings. The Innovation Centre is also collaborating with researchers in the University to develop and pilot new environmental technologies in the building, and, wherever possible, with our clients to make the facilities services more environmentally friendly.

Location

Conveniently located for transport, the Centre sits in one of the UK’s most beautiful campuses, close to the centre of the historic city of Exeter in the heart of Devon, one of the UK’s most scenic counties. In close proximity to the M5 motorway, Exeter Airport and rail links, it is ideal for commuting across the South West and further afield, with only two hours to central London by rail and under an hour to Plymouth.
